Hello Marcus.
We're here to help. This could be caused due to incorrect outgoing email server settings. Please click this link for steps to resolve the outgoing emails issue.
****WARNING*****
When sending an email from Office 365 Client on my PC to anyone I get this error,:my ISP has blacklisted the IP address my VPN (AVG Security) provides to keep away prying eyes.
ERROR: Task 'XXXXXX@bigpond.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC6F) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) email server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 554 5.7.1 Connection refused - OB115. 5.62.22.13 is blacklisted. If you believe this to be in error, please contact postmaster@bigpond.com'
I have redacted to not show my real email address except to show the ISP responsible for the blacklist error.
How can I resolve this issue/error without being forced to shut down the AVG VPN connection?.
Yes…I noted those instructions and triple checked that all were set in accordance with my carrier which I confirmed today. But found that after doing a system cleanup and rebooting the computer that this has resolved the issue, still, one would argue that even a system clean and reboot would not have been necessary and likley had no affect on the result. I suggest it is a Microsoft weakness in DNS resolution processes. At any rate thats how it looks to me…stuff just seems to break easier today than 20 years ago.
I'm glad to hear that your issue is resolved.
Yes, the security and protection are more complex these days and it requires advanced setup.
We appreciate your expertise in this issue.
Thank you for your time and co-operation.
