I certainly understand your concern. I think you would have installed some security toolbar or some security add-on that gets installed on your browser while installing any other program. That should be asking this for this password, so I would request you to uninstall all unnecessary/unwanted programs, search bars, toolbars, add-ons, plugins and extensions from your computer as well as from the web browsers and then check whether the issue persists. Good day to you. When i go into the Internet via Yahoo, and then open up something i want to view, a pop up comes up on my screen asking me for a "Master Password for the Software Security Device". This happens on each occasion once i have opened up a subject matter i am searching for on the net. I recently used AVG PC tune up and am a registered user of AVG Anti Virus hardware. Please assist as i am unable to ascertain where the problem is currently. Thank you.
