Could you change your location in AVG Secure VPN and verify the status?
If the issue continues to be the same, please disable e-mail shield and check if you are able to access e-mails through Outlook.

Microsoft Outlook 2016 was working OK when i originally uploaded it onto my computer, but after a recent AVG update it will now not send or receive E Mails if i have the VPN enabled. Is there a fix for this ???
