Firstly, thank you so much for your timely responses to sort out my issue at hand. Yes, i am using Mozilla Firefox and indeed i managed to do what you both suggested and removed the password prompt. I recently posted a call for AVG assistance with a computer Internet issue. I received a response saying i should try unistalling unnecessary programs, search bars, toolbars, plug ins, add-ons etc. The issue at hand is that when i open up something on the Internet, after using my Yahoo default, a pop up appears on my screen saying "enter the Master Password for the Sofware Security Device" which i have to use my cursor to cancel each time, to proceed. I can't recall doing anything on my computer that is causing this problem, like some security add on to my browser. As i am not a computer geek, i would be obliged if someone could assist me in laymans terms(step by step) to get rid of this screen pop up. I reloaded AVG anti virus on my computer, but this has not helped. Thanking you in advance.

If you use Firefox browser, and you get every time you start the browser. request to enter a password prompt master password
I recommend or Changing, or Removing the master password
