Issues activating VPN function

Hi,
I have paid for Secure VPN, but my account does not seem to recognise it. I have followed all the steps suggested, and I am logged in, but it still does not work. On my main AVG interface it says that VPN is installed, but then when I pressed the icon it says 'VPN ran into a technical error'.  When I press the VPN secure icon on my desktop, it says 'privacy is not protected'. Somehow the difference parts of the AVG system are not linking up. Can you please advise me how to get around this?

Grateful for quick advise (it was soon over a week since my subscription started, but not been able to activate it is very frustrating!)

Yes, the screenshots are visible for us. I can see that you're receiving error message "VPN ran into a technical problem" while open AVG Secure VPN. In this case, I request you to press Windows Logo+R: Run dialog box and type services.msc, look for AVG Secure VPN, select it and start/restart it's services and check if your AVG Secure VPN is working fine.

The images are showing then I post them, but don't understand why it is not showing here and says 'user-added image'. I hope they are visible to you?

Hello again,
I tried to restart it via services.msc, however that did not make a difference. I then uninstalled VPN completely, restarted the pc and then reinstalled it. And voila, it's now working!
