Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer & what happens exactly while accessing Secure VPN & remote desktop connections with AVG enabled.
Do you receive any error message? If so, share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.

After latest AVG app update I am not able to connect to some VPN and remote desktops, but it works fine, when I deactivate AVG - Maybe it is to restrictive and have a setup for this?
