I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. May I know if you're using AVG Free Antivirus for your computer protection? I request you to open AVG Free Antivirus/AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > updates > check and try to updates virus definitions and also it's version updates.

I tried this and it does not help.  The updates are as of now and the version is as of March 1, 2018. I am very unhappy at this point to say the least.
