Hello Yavor, you mean that whenever you scan your computer using AVG it automatically restarts your computer or shuts down your computer or you get a blue screen. Am I right?
Hi Sindhu! Thank you very much for your reply, but it's all fine now! Cheers!
It's all fine now! After the update I put the scan and went normal! Thanks AVG and be more careful what updates you put cos there are those of us here who are still using XP!
Hi Sindhu! Thank you very much for your reply, but it's all fine now! Cheers!
I have the same problem. It started yesterday and happened again today.
What annoys me about AVG of late is this… (Something completely unrelated as scan still running fine) - AVG in the 'olden days' USED to tell you what percentage it was at so you knew approx how long you had to wait for the scan to finish - Now - You just don't know - Some days my scan that starts at 2pm - Is STILL running at 8pm!!! - Some days it finishes at 2.30pm… And you never know how long it might take - You just have to wait and see… I with the AVG peeps would put the percentage done bit back on - Cos I would really like to know if I will be sat here for the nest few hours or whether it feels like finishing swiftly today…
Though I am also very grateful that it has not restarted the computer all over again…
All fine today since I updated - Bar the fact that it is soooooooooooooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwww - Why had AVG one so slow these days? Sometimes it takes 30mins - Then others (when nothign on my cmp has changed) it takes forever (It has taken from 2pm to almost 9pm before to complete the scan) my computre is not that full of stuff… I just dont understand why AVG takes so long to run sometimes.
My sonkeeps telling me to change but I am loyal to AVG as I came to AVG when Norton let a trojan through many years ago and have been loyal ever since.
I just wish it was faster (and with it didnt slow the computer down to a snails pace)
Yes I'm on XP too as well…
Well the technicians are doing their best thus far, but they had to collect detailed info from my computer and send it for analyzing at higher level! I expect an e-mail from AVG in order to know what the problem actually is!
Hi Deja Vu! Same here! I hope it isn't a virus!
Hi Balasubramanian!
Whenever I scan with AVG IS suite it automatically restarts my computer! It is simply impossible for me to scan at all!
Hi Rajendra,
