I don't know if any one else has had this issue, but recently on the 25th March I found £104.99 deducted from my bank account by "Digital River UK Limit" I didn't recognise this company so checked with my Bank and they passed it to their fraud department. The bank duly reimbursed me and everything was fine.
However I later found out that "Digital River" is AVG and therefore my subscription that I'd taken out for 10 devices had elapsed. I notified my bank of the error and they repaid AVG the £104.99 for 10 devices.
Subsequently AVG notified me that I hadn't utilised my license, so I went on, actioned the authorisation code only to find that instead of covering 10 devices it now only covered one, however as I got to the bottom of the page it asked me if I would like to reactivate the deactivated AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) that had apparently elapsed on the 29th April. Another dialogue box opened and they kindly offered if I paid a further £109.99 for 10 devices that they would offer a 50% discount called (Renew and Save 50%) but I had already paid for 10 devices but only received cover for 1 device.
Is this a common issue with AVG?
