I've paid for & downloaded the full version, but keep getting messages that it's expired

I created an account on the 17th December and installed the AVG PC Tuneup (FREE) version. On the 18th I got a message to say that this had expired and asking me to buy the full version - which I did. Now every time I log in I'm told that my log in was too slow and I need to buy the full version! And YES - my computer has become much slower since I downloaded AVG. Kindly advise…
