From your description, it seems that the video option might be disabled in Jabber guest video conferencing app.
If all the required settings are configured correctly, then either disable AVG protection temporarily or disable each AVG component individually as mentioned in this article to check & let us know the outcome.
Hi - when I connect to a video call with jabber guest I can hear the other person but I can't see them on my computer. They can hear and see me on their end and have had no other similar problems at their end. They have suggested that it may be my security system blocking them but wouldn't that be both video and audio?
