Renewall should extend your current license and you will register it into myaccount in process. In case it will not, let me know (I will need current license without last 5 characters).

In Jan 2013 I purchased avg internet security license for 2 computers for 2 years through local computer business. License expires 8th Jan 2015 but avg has flagged up a "renew now" offer today Sept 27th 2014. If I take up the offer have I lost out or does it mean that the renewal starts on 8th Jan 2015?
Jane, To the best of my knowledge one would assume that your renewal would apply from 8th Jan 2015… Have a look @ this new form link (https://support.avg.com/support_contact_form) to get email/chat/phone support. There's a Sales Support section. Jane, Did you use the same email address to purchase in 2013?. If so MyAccount (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=What-is-AVG-MyAccount) should show your details. You could also use this link (http://www.avg.com/license-retrieval) for your license info…
