Java:Malware-gen [Trj]

Hi AVG Technologies
I have a computer running MS Windows 10, with AVG ultimate new update installed.
it was found today an AVG notification pops up "Java: Malware-gen [Trj]" on the screen, although it said the file was safely locked in the quarantine folder, yet it still pops up whenever I close it.

Please advise.

Best Regards,
Anthony

Good morning Karthikeyan,

hope this message finds you well.

I'm experiencing the same problem as Holly.
In brief:
- if Microsoft Outlook is down all the applications behave as expected.
- once I start Outlook, however, an AVG message pops up and says a
Threat (has been) Secured.
The same message also says that the relevant file (an incoming email sent by info@valet.fr) has
been quarantined. Finally, the message suggests a full computer scan is performed.
- while the pop-up is still on the screen, if:
  > a full computer scan is performed, no infections are found, at all.
  > the quarantine is acceded, no files are found, at all
  > no other messages are displayed
- if, instead, I close the pop-up, a new message is displayed. It reports the same information as the
first one, except the name of the shipping documents (having format fix string + variable number)
- if, after repeating last task above 100 times, I get in the quarantine, I don't find 100 records but only a
fraction of them (maybe 30 or 40)

A final consideration.
I guess all the messages are raised by an AVG for Outlook Addin called "asOutExt.dll".
I have successfully checked it is really installed, as an Outlook extension, in my computer.
It follows that, if I downloaded my emails by a non-protected client (like the app embedded in Windows 10) I should see a constant stream of infected emails getting through.
Well, it never happens. None of the emails downloaded by a non-protected client look like the threats reported by AVG.

Wish you can help me, best regards.
Massimo
