I Loaded Java on my MAC a couple of months ago, at  present I'm running OS Yosemite.  Since I loaded the Java (which shows up in my Sys Pref.  At least twice a day I get a request to update the JAVA.  A couple of times I did download the update but when I check the version its the same as the one thats loaded.  I'm very jumpy now about trojans and such so I'd like to know if anyone else out there has had a soimiliar thing happen and if so how did they correct it?

If you do not have  installed AVG antivirus for Mac
It can try it you can get it here
