Are you using a free version of AVG or paid version?
Did you try to set your AVG program network profile as "Private" and check?
Thank you and please keep us updated.

ok tried that, no change.  Same issue occured.

Same problem here. I did the updates and added the ip to the approved list but the warning reappears every time I attempt to log on to the modem. I have since removed the IP and reverted to prevoious settings on AVG.
The keyboard appears to be disabled as I can't select "Sign On" and log into the modem. Password and userid are automatically inserted but the keyboard appears disabled.
Any ideas?

Hi, AVG keeps identifying a redirect trojan on my PC, but isn't removing it.  I get the issue every time I try to log into my router and I have an Xbox on the same network that keeps dropping out as it has detected a "network change".  How can I get rid of this or even just get AVG to actually remove it as deep scans do nothing.

Thank you for sharing us the screenshot, David.
Upon checking it, we see that Web Shield has blocked the access, as it seems to be malicious or suspicious. Sometimes, this could be a false positive from AVG.
Please ensure that AVG program has the latest patches applied to it by :
Opening AVG program - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions at bottom right corner - restart the computer after successful update & check.

Hi Hari,
This occurs across several browsers when entering 192.168.0.1 (browser ip).  Initially it was just Chrome, as I use Chrome as default, however once I tried using MS Edge, the same error was captured by AVG.

Virus definitions are up to date, False - positive report ahs been submitted for reveiw.  The above changes were made to AVG settings Remote Access and it still showed the same issue when entering the router IP.

Philip's issue with the disabled keyboard occured on my end too.  User and password ID was in, but you could not press submit, and couldn't log in.  I think from memory i fixed this by going to windows security centre, and enabling the app and browser controls through there.  This then at least allowed me to enter the modem management pages.

Hi,

I have paid for AVG so it’s on a subscription.  Screenshot (photo) attached.
