Justcloud blocked by AVG

Forgot the pics…AVG JustCloud Issue

I forgot to say . . . I have been reinstalling justcloud for a few days now and everytime it seems fine until justcloud checks for an update then avg pops up and there goes my justcloud.  Gone again!

Alan Binch, please advise a different solution. The article unfortunately is not helpful as AVG continually removes the EXE file used to set-up your back-up as you download it. JustCloud's backup app worked fine with AVG until early October 2014. Not sure when an update came out that caused this issue.

Like everyone above, I am totally frustrated that Justcloud is being removed by AVGPRO as soon as it is turned on, without even asking me.

I upgraded my AVG Security to the 2015 version today. Then I downloaded and installed the latest version of Justcloud. It installed fine when AVG was disabled. But when I tried to add the "EXCEPTIONS", I was not allowed to add them and AVG kept giving a message about the command line having the wrong length; I am not a computer programer and I have no idea at all what this is about. AVG can we please get some help here?

What are you saying?  AVG considers Justcloud a threat?
that means I have to find another cloud service?
what cloud service's app is not a threat

I've got same problem… unfortunately, I tried resolving by uninstalling JustCloud and now looking to download/install again.
Alan Binch / AVG Guru … please advise.
OR
Why not upgrade AVG to recognise and allow JustCloud ???

Hi Ryan,
Exeption is made for Residen Shield and scan, but it is detected by Identity protection, please make sure that Identity protection is ticked.
Thanks

Hi Daniel,
Yes, but you don't have to change service, just add it to exeptions.
Thanks

Hi Susan, Could you please send me screenshot http://avgclick.me/createascreenshot of the detection window for further look?

Thanks

Hi all,
Unfortunatelly this detection has been confirmed and it is not false detection.
Thanks

Hi, do we have a workable solution to the JustCloud and AVG issue above?  Zbynek says "Unfortunatelly this detection has been confirmed and it is not false detection.", aside from uninstalling AVG, I've added folders and files for JustCloud's desktop app to AVG Exceptions, anything else need adding?
Thanks

Why has AVG started bloacking Justcloud cloud back up storage solutions??
I have not been able to find a work around for stopping this happening. Even if I can install the application by disabling AVG temporarily as soon as it restarts then it removes the back up application. This is a legitimate back up solution and if I don't get a solution I will be forced to move away from AVG which is a shame as I have been a strong advocate of your solution to friends and family for several years.

Yours sadly

Steve

I followed AVG's article to place justcloud under exceptions but it still removes justcloud.  I am very frustrated at this point and I'm ready to ask for a refund!
