Keep AVG from poping up after being minimized

I have AVG minimized and out of the way on purpose, but for the last 14 days it keeps popping up and telling me to renew soon! I can not find a way to stop this. It's so annoying I might just stop my subscription and be done with AVG. I've used it for years now, but this is unacceptable. Is there a way that I'm not seeing to stop this? Thanks for anyone's time.
