Keep getting message: "We've crashed."

since this morning, I'm having the same issue as some other posters:
 When I try to enter AVG it says-
SORRY, WE'VE CRASHED.  Please restart your computer to re-enable your protection. If that doesnt help, try to repair your installation. 
I restarted, and it says the same thing. How do I repair it when I cannot get into it???

Hi. I used the repair tool, per your instructions, and the system still reverts to saying, "We've crashed…" What are the other options, as this fix doesn't work.
