I am currently running AVG Internet Security Software Version 18.8.3071 (build 18.8.4084.409) UI Version 1.0.134 Virus definitions version 230522-18 Copyright 1992-2017 AVG Technologies. AVG is running on a Dell Inc. Optiplex 745 X86-based Desktop PC.

The PC is running Microsoft XP Professional 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600.

On September 3 2021, I applied WindowsXP-USP4-v3.1b-x86-ENU and on September 6, 2021, I applied WindowsXP-SP4EOS-Rollup. I have had no BSOD problems caused by AVG until very recently.

The latest BSOD dump details analyzed by Nirsoft BlueScreenViewer are:

Being a 70 year old ex ICT Professional with 40 years ICT experience, I have already tried everything I know to remediate the problem, short of reinstalling AVG itself, i.e. Rollback/update/Reinstall device drivers, remove Malwarebytes, Restores from restore points and backups, SFC/Scannow, Safe Boots, BIOS Changes/Update, Reseat/Move memory in memory channels, etc.

I would now like to reinstall or reinitialize AVG itself, but I am concerned about the risks of doing so. I do not have an 18.8 version of AVG that I can install and I am unable to recreate the user environment because of the protection that AVG places on AVG folders and files, i.e. you cannot move the user folders and files to another location in order to have AVG recreate them.

Is there a version 18.8 of AVG available that I can use to reinstall AVG or are there any other remedies that I can try?
