Key programs not working after PC Tuneup

Hi 

I has AVG free software and my PC was getting slow so I downloaded Tuneup 

Upon finishing the download and restarting my computer, the software that I use to do 90% of my paid work suddenly could not find the server for its license!!

Can you please tell me what is going on and how to fix it?

Has it somehow decided that files relating to this program are not needed or something?

In a bit of a pickle here and I  could do with some answers

Is this program started after running AVG PC TuneUp scan?

If yes, we request you to restore all the changes made from AVG TuneUp program.

Open AVG TuneUp program, click on "Rescue Center"(Refresh icon at the right top corner). From here restore all the settings that were made using AVG TuneUp.

If the issue persists, we request you to uninstall AVG TuneUp from your computer control panel and check for the issue.
