Lack of clarity in purchasing Internet Security ( Multi device )

Recently I purchased AVG Internet Security ( Multi Device) for 2 years subscription billed every 2 years .
 
I received an Invoice which includes the following –

  • A sub-total of  $99.99 / 2 years.
  • It also shows a total of  $109.99 which includes 10% tax
         and says " Order Total : $109.99. The charge(s) will appear           on your credit card as DRI*AVG Technologies”
  • However the charge which appeared on my credit card is for $162.11 which is a conversion of the $109.99 from USD to
        Australian dollars 
 
Nowhere when I was processing the payment for the product or on the Invoice provided, does it indicate that the $109.99 is in USD ???
 
Isn’t the Invoice provided by your organisation a clear indication of the cost of the product and the amount that I could expect to find on my Credit Card statement?
In a call to the Help Desk, I was given no clear explanation about why the USDs suddenly appeared and told that the amount on my Credit Card statement was the correct cost of the product.
I feel I've been misled.
