Lack of support

Donald,
I apologize for the delayed response. Your case was escalated with high priority and the refund will be processed soon.
You will get an email from us as soon as possible.
Your patience is much appreciated in this matter.
Thank you.

As expected customer support(and I use the term loosely)have not responded.Pretty pathetic and they are poor representatives for AVG,which used to be an excellent company, now    ?

I have an issue with AVG and despite very many e-mails giving AVG all the information asked for ,I do not get any replies. My issue is with a scam when paying for products,eg AVG-VPN
.AVG have known of this for some time but have done nothing to prevent or warn customers.Watch out for your bank statements showing a payment to AVG.com followed by this number 01522803205,google it and see what others have suffered…
Since AVG show no interest in their loyal customers I am seriously considering not renewing my subs, without a safe payment gateway ,it is too risky.
AVG the refund ref and associated e-mails are on 04845687 .

Hi Donald,
I understand this must be frustrating. I have checked the case details and the screenshots of the statements you shared with our refund team. Please be informed that it is not an automatic renewal happened and it was a new purchase from you end. I see that you purchased AVG Secure VPN on 6th June 2017 and paid from your PayPal account. I assure you it was deducted only once. I would request you to contact PayPal and inquire about the charge on 8th June. It could be a debit of same amount for something else.

I must point out that I purchased the AVN option via my debit card on the 5th June.
On the 6th June a withdrawel showed on my statement as going to WWW,AVG.com with the 0152 number appended to that withdrawel, this is normal to take 1 day to show on the account.
On the 8th June the PayPal withdrawel was made, this is a typical delay before showing on the account.
The illegal transaction ie the payment to WWW.AVG.com,took place as I was pay a so called one of payment.
It is obvious that there is a problem with your payment system, someone has hacked into it and stolen my money and if you bothered to google the number that I supplied you with, you will see that I am not the only one to have been scammed.
I have checked both with my bank and PayPal and both say there has been illegal activity.
Now if AVG support cannot see the problem then I will not renew my subs for my other AVG products.
