Laptop Slow when i install avg free antivirus - 100% cpu and disk used

Hello Vishal,

This is not the usual behavior of the AVG.
I request you to install and and check if it still occupy most of the CPU usage.
If yes, kindly repair the AVG using the below link :

I am facing this issue from long time when i uninstall avg there no 100% cpu and disk used issue but when i install avg free antivirus i faced 100% cpu and disk used. In task manager most of time avg show power usage high

Thank you for providing the screenshot, Vishal.
AVG Antivirus service is actually using 1.5% CPU and the disk usage is 3.5 MB/s.
Are you experiencing any slowness or performance lag on your laptop due to this?
Do you have any other antivirus program installed on your laptop?

Yes, my system gets slow when disk usage is 100% and doesn't have any other antivirus on my laptop.
