On the AVG Dashboard, the "last Computer Scan" and "Virus definitions" are permanently shown as "a few seconds ago", even though I have not run a scan for days. Is there any significance in this?

I understand the situation, we haven't received the exact ETA for this particular bug. We assure you that the fix will be released at the earliest as possible. However, rest assured that your computer will be still protected. Your patience is much appreciated.
For the last three weeks my self and a lot of people have had the same issue , and have been told it is a bug and there will be an update to solve it .
No one seems to know when or if the update will ever appear. If AVG Technologies represenatives are sending out emails with instructions to resolve the issue why are they not available for every one ?.
We have been told to wait for the update to resolve the issue.
