The message for AVG scan on the interface is a known issue and the developers are working to fix it.
We assure you that the issue will be fixed as soon as possible.
At present, the schedule scan can be confirmed only when you are on the PC at the time of schedule scan and the interface will showing the scanning message.
Just reloaded AVG Free because scheduled scans not working. Scheduled scans for daily @ 06.00. Auto scan began straight away - no problems. But - Main AVG page under "Last Scan" - says "Never" and I've had that problem all along with the latest version. How do I know a scan has run as scheduled?
