Last year I cancelled my AVG account

As in the Topic area above … I cancelled my AVG account last year but  have just had a mail from them stating that I have, again, purchased AVG Internet Security on 2016-01-23 ( note the date!!)
Apart from the date error I no longer use any AVG software … how do I get them to cancel the totally unwanted renewal?
