They are needed for un-instal, if you have nvidia card, run the cleaner, then look at your ADD REMOVE probrams, try and uninstal NVIDIA, u cant, the user is forced to use DDU. I also noticed a problem with the steam cleaner, when this box is ticked, verifying game files forces many missing to be re-downloaded, back to the drawing board guys

Hi Ryan, the files displayed in the picture are not required for running NVDIA. Those are temporary files. When you run NVDIA setup file or is updated automatically the setup extracts those files to the location C:\NVDIA.. Once the installation is complete those files can be safely deleted from the system. Let us know if you have any doubts. Thank you.
Since the latest patch the other day, when running CLEANUP and CLEAN TEMPORARY INSTALATION files is ticked, it cleans out half of NVIDIA GPU files that are needed. This needs urgent attention before someone ruins their expensive GPU. I have attached a photo of problem.
