I just recieved an email from "noreply*@.avg.com" about (regarding) "Customer Care - (bla-bla-bla-whatever!).
And of course!, it was asking to reply to a 'link' IN THE EMAIL!
What!? Do you think I'm stupid??… anyway… After searching the net for THAT LINK, a real (top of the results list!) link regarding that very SCAM I had just recieved WAS from a staff member? of AVG… I hope. Following the link led to (hopefully expected) topics, ASK A QUESTION, etc, (hope'g to find a result) regarding this latest email 'from' AVG.
Regarding this case, I'm thinking that it's a SCAM, wouldn't you??
Tried to go back and find the email and I'll be darned if it didn't disappear!! Couldn't find it!!
It honestly disappeared somehow.
Now I'm thinking, "Why you SOB's!!!" (hackers/scammers)… Try to get in my sh_t will ya'?"
Has anybody else (AVG users) recieved an email from said AVG?
Frankly, I'd BEWARE if YOU get such an earmail… EMAIL-EMAIL… (damn computer!)
