I understand the inconvenience. My latest Tuneup icon has a Microsoft Antivirus Shield in the corner in the tray. When I press it or any icon it only brings up a white rectangle with no menu or interface. I subsequently have to open my Control panel/ programs/ install-uninstall to repair the program. It then opens and works until I shut down and has the recurring problem when I start the machine up again. I have AVG Internet security as well and it functions normally and acts as my firewall.
Any suggestions to avoid this convoluted way of using this program? Greg
