Latest update interferes with netwrok connection to most sites

Hello Dave,

I am sorry to hear that. May I know what AVG Program (free or paid) you have installed on your computer? I also suggest you to disable Online shield component ( AVG > menu > settings > components) and check if the websites are working fine.

Since latest update I received on July 8, 2017, my internet connection to key websites (youtube, facebook, twitch, to name a few) has been not allowing data through. I cant even watch a basic youtube video. When I disable AVG everything works fine. Since this happens if I'm using Firefox or google chrome.

I request you to uninstall and reinstall Online shield ( AVG > menu > settings > components) and check if the websites are working fine. You can also check the AVG schedule scan preferences here (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-start-or-plan-a-computer-scan).

I have the Basic/Free version. I think you found the problem. I turned AVG back on and jsut turned off online shield and that fixed the problem. Thanks!

Also, I don't the option to set up the scheduler anymore.
