I was able to resolve this and get my email functional again. since my email client is not ssl literate I brought my CYGWIN stunnel service back on line like I used to use before avg had the multi server config w/ssl and got it reconfigured properly to bridge between the client and avg with ssl in use. email is now working it seems.
thanks
results are on the way - sysinfo errored but sent result
the first shots are setting up the connection and the third i sfor user specific. this is back to a base setup where I tried to make it work with new avg - old setup chained in popfile (spam filter) and used alternate ports to build the chain ending up with avg controlling server and port destination before you changed avg to how it works now it to what it does now before avg included the ssl connection the chain went through stunnel as well since my client does not support ssl internally. I don;t think all i need is there and I think I need to roll back to last version supporting multiple servers and portss
