From your description, we're uncertain about the exact AVG program that you suspect. Would you be so kind to clarify the update to which you refer. Is it Driver Updater attempt to update windows or AVG Internet Security's update?

AVG attempted to update my windows. It loads 7% then fails, and reverts to a restore point (thank goodness!) However, I cannot install the update even from Windows and I get four driver utility files that windows "can not access". Never had a problem until AVG updated, or tried to update. What to do?
