Hello Brian,
Have you enabled the printer sharing option in AVG firewall settings? If not please follow the below steps to enable it.
1) Open AVG Internet Security dashboard, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components–>Firewall–>Customize"
2) To the right of "Policies" scroll down to click on "System Rules"
3) Enable the option for "Windows file sharing and printing", "allow remote desktop connection" and the last entry "Enable stealth mode"
4) Below policies, click on "Network Profiles" to the right, click on the network connection and change the profile to "Private" if it is set to "Public".
If you still unable to see your wireless printer, disable AVG program temporarily (Right click on AVG in the system tray and turn off the protection) and check the status.

Why cant my laptop see my Wirless printer. I have checked & the printer is setup correctly & can be seen via my Ipad. I am guessing that my AVG wirewall is stopping the connection.
Thanks
