Licence code has already been used by another account

Hi all

I got an email stating about to expire. I had to update credit card details, as that was the reason for the manual update requirement.
I paid. I logged into my cloud account.
Subscriptions tab was blank,same with orders.
When I tried to apply the code I was told it has been used by another account.
I do note that the email address(gmail) for the details is different to the email I logged in with.
(this is the email I have recorded as what I am using for this avg protection.)
I tried to log in with the email address(gmail) and I am told the email/password dont match
I reset the password and then when logging in with gmail it states it needs information before it can create the console.  this seems  like a completely new account.
I dont want that.
How can I get the code transferred to my previous email address account.
Or is that too much trouble and just go with the flow…?ie, stay with gmail account now.
