Licence number not accepted

Hi Dave, 
I have the same problem.  Tried what was suggested in the link provided by the guru.  Did what was suggested by the AVG Employee.  After un-installing, downloading and installing the latest version, cut-and-pasting the license key from the e-mail I received from AVG, the result is still the same - the license key is not accepted.  There's a bug in their software; if a solution is not forthcoming shortly, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My AVG version number is 9.0.932.  Is that the latest version?  If not, how do I upgrade to the most recent?

I am also having problems with logging in to the help system.  The log in via Facebook works, but the direct log in rejects my password, and after I reset it, claims I don't have an account.  

I can't respond directly to email replies because they're "do not reply". 

This is becoming most frustrating.  I've paid for a product that I'm not getting the use of.

Today I received your bi-annual renewal email, order number 37-3456493.  Following the instructions I copied and pasted the new License Number in the appropriate box and clicked on Activate.

I received an error message saying "The license number is not valid.  Please verify …"

I have checked that it is correct and complete, but it is not accepted.

Please help.

I am glad to see it works. With AVG account there was some issue with password reset but it should be working now.
