Actually this license not recognized is a known issue and to fix this and the error 0xC0070643 we request you to completely reinstall AVG using AVG remover tool.
1) To download our AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://af-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE: Once the remover tool done with the progress please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG remover" folder.

I'm getting a message that AVG is unable to recognize my license number. I went to the web site, copied and pasted my number and then re-entered it. Nothing happened. I then went to download AVG Pro again and it went so far and then gave me an Error message that it failed to install. With Error Code 0x0070643, Description: Event exe_finish.
