We really understand your concern. The last four character of your license number will not be displayed in the AVG Internet Security support interface. This is because of the security and privacy reasons, so no one can see the complete license number if they access your computer. Un my emails from AVG it says the following [with most detail replaced with X]:
Your license number is: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-46BOL
But on my computer in the AVG software under the Support menu it says that I have license number [with most detail replaced with X]:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-4
You can see that the final "46BOL" from the license number is truncated to just "4" when displaying it in the AVG software.
All the other numbers are the same, but why is it that the AVG software truncates the last few letters/digits off the number?
