You can activate your AVG Internet Security using new license after renewal. Let us know the version of AVG you have installed.
Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> About -> check its version.

I have renewed my AVG suscription for 3 computers for a year.In the invoice, there are instructions that say that the license will renenew automatically.However, two days after the payment, when I get in the support part of the icon, still appears the old license number, and when I copy paste the new one, appears that it is valid , but after I close and open agani, the window, the old license number still appears.The old license expires january 8…Does this mean the new number will appear after that ? date? Or there is something else I should do? How about to make sure the other computers are also protected? Thanks in advance.

I believe I dont have that AVG version , wich may be the latest, since the icon " my avg" does not appear.Herebay, I send you the screeshot of the version I have installed, as you requested.

We will need to remove the older version of AVG Internet Security using AVG clear and removal tools. Once the traces are removed, we can proceed with the installation of latest version.
Could you tell me which Operating System you are using like Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10?

If you are using the 18.8 version and above, please refer the below steps to activate the product:
1. Please open AVG Internet Security icon - Click My AVG - Click My subscriptions.
2. Click on Log out/Remove license to remove the existing license.
3. Please be informed that we need to completely remove the existing license to enter the new license number. Please click on the Remove license option until you get two options "Login and Enter new License".
4. If you get the "Enter new license" option, please enter the license number you received and click OK to activate.
5. Once you entered the new license, your AVG will be updated automatically and requests a restart.
6. Please restart your PC and check if the activation is successful.
