License was renewed but I can't reactivate

My father used to have a PC and used AVG but he has a Mac now and no longer needs it. I could not log in with his email address to cancel the subscription so we were recently re-billed. His email address is not recognised by your system for some reason even though he receives emails from you. I would like to use the license or have it transferred to my account so I can use it. Otherwise we would like a refund. I'm not thrilled with your system by the way. The instructions in the email indicate to click on 'options' to re-activate but that does not exist.

So to summarize, I have a licence number and would like to use it even though someone else paid for it. He is not using it.

Please follow the steps in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-AntiVirus-or-Internet-Security-with-a-new-license-number to activate AVG 2017 version with new license number.
