I have the same issue. Ever since I updated to OSX Yosemite, the Link Scanner icon shows alert status. When opened, it says Secure Search and Update Manager are active but the Secure Browing is disabled. When I click on "Configure," it opens the Link Scanner control window in the Mac System Preferences. That says that Secure Browsing is enabled. I have turned it off and then back on but it makes no difference. I had hoped that updates since Yosemite's release would resolve the issue but they have not.
Secure browsing continues to tell me its inactive and that my computer is not protected. Any ideas on how to fix the issue?
Sheri, AVG LinkScanner for Mac operating system??.. Correct?.
