Liveleak, Wi-Fi, 0x80070005

I've been watching videos on Liveleak.com recently and I think something sneakily installed itself on my PC that's interfering with my Wi-Fi. My first clue was not being able to stay connected for more than 10-15 minutes at a time. Second, there's a strange network appearing in my range called "F**K U" but it doesn't come up on my other PC or my phone. Third, when I right click my network bars in the task bar and click on Troubleshoot problems, I get an "0x80070005" error.

I've tried scanning my entire PC but to no avail. I've tried all sorts of solutions/hacks/whatever I could find online but nothing helped. The only thing that fixes the problem is Refreshing Windows which is a pain in the neck because it means I have to reinstall all my programs. So I'm wondering if anyone else has seen/heard/come across the same issue, and if there is a fix for it? I am not entirely sure that it's called by Liveleak, but I don't know what else it could be.

You are welcome Nebs. Do you mean that you have already did restore of Windows or you are yet to try it?

Hello Nebs, I guess you might have installed some Malware programs unknowingly or while visiting the Liveleak.com website. These adware programs should be removed manually. I would recommend you to start with uninstalling all unknown/unused programs from your PC and remove the weird, unwanted addons, plugins, extensions, toolbars and searchbars from your web browsers. If the issue still persists please try resetting your browser once and your issue should get fixed. Thank you.

Hi Balasubramanian, thanks for your answer. I actually tried your solution but I think whatever it is that installed itself on my PC is really sneaky. I'm on top of everything installed on my PC, browser, etc but this thing definitely doesn't rear its ugly head. So far the only solution is to Refresh Windows.

Thanks for your help.
