The subscription in your account can be used on Windows, MAC & Android. It cannot be used on iOS devices.
We do have a specialized app for iOS, which is AVG Mobile Security. Hence, you're experiencing this issue.

I recently purchased AVG Full Protection for my new Dell PC and was told I could also load on up to 10 devices. Had no problem loading onto an older PC as well as an Android tablet, using the multi-digit activation code which came with my subscription. Just tried the same thing on my new iPhone7 by downloading the "AVG Mobile Security" from the Apps Store and finally found the place to enter my activation code. Entered it two different times, checking the characters/numerals carefully for accuracy, and received a "purchase not completed" message telling me to send the log file to AVG with no instructions on how to do so. Help…
