Sure, the shortcut in my PC shows "AVG AntiVirus FREE" and it guide me to "AVG Internet Security System"(version 19.8.4793.0) as shown in this picture: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Recently, I fail to check the AVG dashboard by clicking the icon on the desktop. After clicking, it will always show as this screenshot:

I've reboot PC for several times. Win7 and AVG should both in a very new version by updated via UI. Hopefully any one could help me or provide any patch to solve this. Thanks

If you still face the same issue again, we request you to uninstall the program from the control panel and reinstall it again.

Hi guys,

Tried repair but doesn't work, so I remove and install AVG again then update it to the newest version.

It works fine now and I'll observe if it runs stably from now on.

Thank you for providing us the info. 
Sometimes, this might happen if few services are unable to initiate. In this regard, let us try repairing AVG once & check if it helps.
