I only have AVG Antivirus Free. Under "Menu > Settings > General > Privacy" I only have "participate in the community" and "allow usage data to be shared with 3rd parties analytics". Both were ticked, I have now unticked them.
If AVG is going to spam me with popups trying to warn me of privacy problems, at least they could get it right. I was told I live in Wales, 500 miles from where I actually live in Scotland. Why would I buy a product this useless?

I am sorry with the free version of AVG Antivirus program it is not possible to disable campaign pop up.

We will help you to get this sorted out.
The campaign pop up is for the purchase of AVG Secure VPN program and the pop up throws a dummy location as it is only for advertisement purpose.
But the actual program will show the exact same location as you are in.
So we request you to ignore this campaign pop up from the AVG program.
You can stop this campaign pop ups from AVG by following the below instructions:
Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > Privacy > uncheck both "show offers for our other products" and "show offers for 3rd party products"

I do not have anything which says "AVG Internet Security", so I just opened the AVG Antivirus Free window. I then click "Menu", then "Settings", then "General", then "Privacy", and I get "participate in the community" and "allow usage data to be shared with 3rd parties analytics".Screenshot attached.
Don't you find an option that says "show offers for our other products" and "show offers for 3rd party products" ?
