Hello Shirley,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. To uninstall AVG toolbar, check if you have AVG Secure search or Web Tuneup folder installed on the C drive. If yes, please remove it manually from there as well as from the control panel. Also, check if you have enabled AVG extension in your browser settings. After removing the folders, restart the computer and check the status.

Is there a way I can get rid of the tool bar on my lock screen?

I'm sorry, I should have clarified – I'm asking regarding my Android cell phone (Samsung Note 5).

I can't take a screen shot because, well, it's the lock screen, so none of the buttons work. But there are four buttons in a strip: SCAN, CHECK, BOOST, and CLEAN. One or two will sometimes be lit up, but clicking on them does nothing because, again, it's the lock screen. I'm not sure why they're there, but I'd like them gone.

I figured it out! It was as simple as blocking Notifications. Thanks for your help :slight_smile:
