'How did I narrow it down to AVG?"
Because I had a look at the Certificate and it states:
Issued to: *.au.Syrahost.com
Issued by: AVG Web/Mail Shield Root
I just disabled AVG Email Shield, and it is now happening only when I log on the first time. When I closed down and logged in again, it didn't come up again - I tried that a couple of times, and it's gone now. But I cannot be without "Email Shield" !!! Please advise ASAP.
Hello, Robyn.
May I know how did you narrow this down to AVG? Please disable AVG Email scanner temporarily and check if the issue is resolved. Open AVG Internet Secruity, click on Menu -> Settings -> Components -> Email scanner. Toggle the On/Off slider against it to disable the component.
Every single time I try to log into Outlook 2016 I get the following pop-up message: The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified. The target principal name is incorrect. (View Certificate) Do you want to continue using this server ? Yes/No".
It's really annoying, this comes up every time I go to open Outlook 2016. I've just had AVG Internet Security installed. Can anyone help ? (ALSO - FOR AVG'S INFORMATION: I tried to send this on-line through your web page Contacts, but it won't 'load' - that circle 'thing' keeps whizzing around and around, but does nothing. I've been trying for about 30 minutes !).

Robyn, could you provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the message if you want to install the certificate? Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
