Logging off in all devices and new activation code

I have previously spoken with one of AVG´s team member about a problem that I have and need to solve the fastest way possible. Thus, the problem is that I have the AVG Ultimate Protection and I shared it with other people, but, now that I have renewed it, I don't want them to have acess to my account anymore, since we had only agreed to share it for a year. Another thing is that I don't have access to theirs devices so I would like to solve my problem without having to log off in each device.
This way, I was told by an AVG team member that the only way that I could log off of their devices without having to use them would be by changing the activation code of my account.
To sum up, I wish to know if that's effective and how I could do it.
Thank you very much for your attention, this situation has been bothering me for a while and I would appreciate if I had a quick answer.
