I stopped thye scan. Turned the computer all the way off. Restarted it…restarted the scan. Its been at 81% this time for 2 days. The objects scanned number keeps increasing.
The scan setting is dynamic. Is that the problem?
Hello Michael,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
The first time scan will generally take more time to complete. We suggest you to wait for some more time and see if that fix the issue. If the issue persists, we suggest you to restart the computer and try again.
Thank you.
I installed AVG Internet Security two days ago and started the initial scan.
For the past day and a half its been at 90%. Objects scanned keep increasing. Current object scanned keeps changing.
I'm wondering if its stuck in a loop or if this normal for a first time scan.
Michael,
Pleased to see that you appear to be now sorted. Thanks for returning to the Community & posting.
