Open AVG Secure VPN. Go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings. In the general tab check the Enable local device access when using VPN.

My printer had stopped connecting to the internet and I am not able to print anything unless I switch the VPN off and then it works fine

- Open AVG Internet Security.
- Click the Web & Email.
- Click Open above Enhanced Firewall.
- Select the Networks tab.
- Click Show settings next to the AVG VPN network which you are connected with.
- Change it to I trust this network.
