Lost AVG Firewall, then lost everything when restarted

Please let us know what happens exactly while accessing AVG program. Do you receive any error message?
If so, share us the screenshot of it for better clarity. 
Also, clarify whether there are any other antivirus installed on your computer. 
Reason to inquire this being, multiple antivirus on the same computer will compete for resources & conflict with each other.

my AVG anti-virus indicated that my firewall was down and to restart. This made matters worse and now cannot get to AVG at all. Do I need to re-download and If I do, how and where do I go to do this? Thank you
